Nala's signature annual event: a cross-campus competition between UCLA and USC student orgs to stock the waiting rooms of children who need it most.
Children in the legal system spend a lot of time waiting: in courthouse hallways, caseworker offices, and clinics, often surrounded by toys that are outdated, damaged, or scarce. Each fall, student organizations across UCLA and USC compete to collect new toys, children's books, and activity kits, which we deliver directly to the waiting rooms of the Children's Law Center of California and our partner organizations. Every donation comes with a resource card connecting families to legal aid, IEP guidance, and healthcare enrollment info, and the organization that donates the most wins a prize for their chapter.
