our mission

nala unites ucla and usc to promote health equity and legal empowerment throughout the youth of los angeles.

our pillars

how we show up for LA's youth

Every program is built with community, not for it: designed alongside the young people we serve.

01

the fall toy drive

Nala's signature annual event: a cross-campus competition between UCLA and USC student orgs to stock the waiting rooms of children who need it most.

02

culturally conscious care kits

Hygiene and comfort kits for children and families navigating housing instability or the child welfare system.

03

know your rights workshops

Free, student-led workshops that teach LA families the legal and healthcare rights that affect them most, in plain language.

04

letters project

Letters from students on the path to healthcare or law, written to their future selves as the doctor or attorney they're becoming.

fuel the mission across both campuses.

Every dollar becomes a toy, a workshop, a care kit. Stand with two sisters and one city's youth.
